Kerry Brown is co-founder and Director at Alator. With qualifications in European Business Management, she provides strategic leadership and drives the business forward to the global success it is today. Kerry is passionate about quality and continual improvement and oversees our ISO 9001 accredited Quality Management System.

Kerry previously worked in housing as a Welfare Rights Officer and maintains a strong sense of social conscience and responsibility. She is committed to delivering solutions that will have a long-lasting positive impact on the world.

David has 20+ years experience in the field of Engineering Technology. He founded Alator Data Services in 2020 and applied his leadership and technical skills to create a thriving global business.

Prior to starting his own company, David held a 15-year tenure with GE, culminating in the senior role of Instrumentation Team Leader of Performance Engineering. In this capacity, he utilised his specialised knowledge of performance testing equipment, data acquisition, software and processes, including ATEX compliance, to perform and develop thermal performance testing on steam and gas turbines at combined-cycle and fossil plants worldwide.

David can always be relied on to inject a bit of humour and lighten the mood when needed.

Jacob Scott is our Multi-Skilled Technician. The youngest member of the team, he’s already achieved much in his career. He’s worked in many industries across the globe and is dedicated to quality, having achieved his ISO 9001 CQI and IRCA Lead Auditor Certification along with membership of the Chartered Quality Institute (Graded Practitioner PCQI). A qualified electrician by trade, Jacob is now working towards an additional qualification in Engineering.

Jacob’s ambition and enthusiasm is infectious and helps lift the rest of the team.

Patrick McRedmond is our resident damp and mould expert and leads our team of Environmental Engineers in delivering our TrakAer Indoor Air Quality Service. With a BA in Geology and an MSC in Geoscience and Petroleum Studies, Patrick has extensive experience in environmental monitoring and is actively using that knowledge and experience to tackle damp and mould in housing.

Patrick’s worked with many social housing providers and installed 100’s of sensors in properties, working closely with Housing Officers, Maintenance Officers and tenants alike to provide expert advice and alleviate any concerns. He has a knack for explaining complex data in a way people can easily understand.

Patrick brings bags of Irish charm and warmth to the team. Always willing to step in and help out others.

Our in-house emissions expert, Luke Prowse has a BSc in Environmental Science and an extensive background in environmental monitoring, with a key expertise in industrial emissions monitoring for both compliance and NPI products. Having conducted many tests on hundreds of stacks across the globe, Luke excels in the technical understanding of requirements and test methods.

Luke is wise beyond his years and is always ready to offer a listening ear or friendly piece advice to the team.

Hayley Prowse is our Sales and Marketing Executive and brings a wealth of global environmental experience and leadership to the team, having lead Customer Success Teams in the UK and Middle East. Hayley is passionate about customer care and drives our CRM system. She is also using her skills to boost our marketing strategy and enhance our social media presence. Hayley has a BSc in Biological Sciences (Zoology) and cares deeply about the environment.

Hayley brings a serenity and sense of calm to the team. A great sounding-board when we’re trying to work through tricky ideas.
